Cinema Timiș is the second traditional cinema of the city rehabilitated by the Municipality of Timișoara. Reopened in October 2023 and managed through the Project Centre, it becomes a modern multi-purpose space for screening films, concerts and cultural events, right in the heart of the city.
Located right in Victoriei Square in the centre of Timișoara, Cinema Timiș was built in the 1980s and operated until 2017 under the administration of RADEF Romania Film, being the last of the city's traditional cinemas to cease its activity. In the basement of the cinema operated the beloved Club 30, known for live concerts and retro music parties.
