Also known as the Monkey House or the Totisz House, the Stefania Palace offers a generous unconventional space of about 286 square metres, divided into several rooms, suitable for exhibitions, art installations, performances, film screenings, debates and various events.
The building was built in 1908 in the Secession style by the entrepreneur Josef Kremmer senior according to the plans of the architect Székely László. It was restored and atticed according to the design of architects Hortensia Botescu and Mihai Botescu in 2000-2002.
