Clouds On The Ceiling, a performance Apparatus 22, is an introspective exploration of modern love, memory, loss, and longing.

A series of leather objects inscribed with texts and symbols will act in performance as vessels ~ non-linear diary lines ~ Oracle's riddles to create a sequence of mental pictures about ruptures ~ societal changes ~ personal transformations that have occurred since the disappearance of their friend ~ colleague ~ partner Ioana Nemeș.

A reference to the ancient tradition of scrolls as carriers of knowledge and wisdom, the use of leather as a material on which the collective records a wide range of feelings, memories, and thoughts is equal parts eerie ~ hypnotic ~ visceral. In "Clouds on the ceiling," time, language, and imagination are extremely flexible materials, deeply impregnated with queer perspectives from the Suprainfinit - a utopian realm that Apparatus 22 imagined and shaped since 2015 as a favorite host for a certain type of hope: critical and corrosive. Meandering between the edges of the real and the utopia, the collective says goodbye to the past, suddenly heads towards possible better futures, and seeks moments of transcendence.
